Get a Six-Month Ad On Inklit.com FREE

Help us reach our subscription goals, and you could win a six-month Inklit ad absolutely FREE.

Inklit has just launched four 125x125 format ads that are available from every page of our web site, and we're giving away a six-month ad to the blogger who does the most to reach our short term goal of 101 subscribers in 30 days. (Subscribe now in a reader!)

The winner will receive a six-month ad with the image of your choice (within the limits of taste), and linking to the URL of your choice.

101 Subscribers in 30 days? Impossible!

That's right, we want to go from the measly ten subscribers we have now to 101 subscribers -- just over ten times as many subscribers -- in only 30 days! There's no way I can't do it alone, so I'm asking everyone I know to help me by blogging about it, talking about it, and generating as much buzz as you can for people to subscribe to my blog between now and April 10th, 2008.

In just nine short short days, Inklit has gone from no subscribers to ten subscribers, so we know we're on the right track when it comes to helping people make money by writing online. Now we want to raise the stakes and go for 101 Subscribers in 30 days.

Why Should I Bust My Butt For a "FREE" Ad If You're Only Going to Have 101 Subscribers?

Well, that's a fair question, and the answer is: you shouldn't. If all I was going to do with those 101 subscribers was rest on my laurels and not continue to provide value for people who want to have successful online writing careers, then you shouldn't even give me an incoming link, let alone help me blog about my 101-subscriber campaign in any serious way. But my subscription goal doesn't stop at 101 subscribers. My first year goal is 1,010 subscribers.

That's right, the day I reach my first level goal of 101 subscribers and put up the winning six month ad, then I begin working on the harder goal of getting ten times as many subscribers all over again, for a total of 1,010 subscribers! And of course beyond that I want to continue to grow.

How About A Two Year Free Ad on a Site With 1010 Subscribers?

Of course, having 1010 subscribers is a lot more valuable than having 101 subscribers. (I know, I know -- it's ten times more valuable!).

That's why everyone who enters my 101 Subscribers in 30 days contest will also be automatically be eligible to receive a second, more valuable ad spot for a Full TWO YEARS.

The value of this ad once I've reached 1010 subscribers will be at least $600 per year, or $1,200 over two years.

But Wait A Minute -- What If You Don't Reach All These Goals -- Then What Happens?

Of course, if I don't reach these goals, we'll both be sad -- me for having a blog I'm working on more than 30 hours that didn't live up to my goals, and you for helping out a guy who didn't reach the subscription goals he counted on. However, if I don't reach my goals, I will honor my commitment to provide one free six-month ad and one free two-year ad beginning June 10, 2008 and June 10th, 2009, respectively.

Should an Entrecard member win either contest, the winner will not only get the full six month or two year ad, they'll also win 35% of all the Entrecard credits I have on the day the ad is awarde, to spend on any web site ads they like anywhere. Judging

Since the identity of RSS subscribers can be difficult to track, I'll be using a combination of what you tell me about your activity plus my traffic logs to make a decision about who sent me the most visitors and did the most to win either the six month ad or the two year ad. In the event of a tie that I can't reasonably decide, the winner among the finalists will be decided randomly.

Can I Just Buy An Ad for One of the Other Ad Spots You Have Available?

Not yet, however I will have a price list available soon.

Thanks AND KEEP ON WRITING!!!
